How to Upload GIS Files

To upload GIS files (such as Shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML, etc.) for integration into our site's projects, please send a request via e-mail. After the request, a temporary link will be sent to your e-mail address, allowing you to securely upload your files. This link will be valid for a specified period and does not require a password to access.

Steps to Upload Your Files:

1. Send an e-mail to info@majiyetu.org Send an e-mail requesting access to upload GIS files. In the email, you can also mention the type of file you want to send and its purpose (e.g. contribution to a specific project).
2. Wait for reply. We will send a temporary link to your e-mail address that will allow you to upload your GIS files securely.
3. Use the temporary link. When you receive the link, click on it to access the upload form. Remember that this link will be valid for a limited time, so upload within this period.
4. Upload the GIS Files. After accessing the form, select the desired files (Shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML, etc.) and send them directly to our system.

Remarks:

• The validity of the temporary access link (eg. 24 hours , one week)
• Make sure you only send GIS files in the permitted formats.
